Kindness Counts

We call our children's program Kindness Counts. It is how we teach children the Biblical values of kindness. This takes place during the second half of Sunday morning service. We also offer a special virtual session on Saturday mornings at 10am via our Facebook page.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, our church and community rally together to create an unforgettable experience for our kids at VBS. During the fun-filled week, our church basement transforms into a world of imagination and biblical learning. Each day, VBS includes a skit, music, a bible lesson, crafts, snacks, and games.

SEEDS OF HOPE

Seeds of Hope is an outreach program designed to share God's love through service-based projects within our community and the world. Projects include coat drives, preparing and serving meals, making no-sew blankets, raising money for community and world missions, and mission trips right in our own city of Aliquippa.

FAQs

How is the church addressing the Covid pandemic?

We continue to follow CDC recommendations. Based on recent recommendations, we no longer require masks, but will monitor the situation and update procedures accordingly.

What do I wear?

We are a casual church. On any given Sunday, you may see a suit or a Steelers jersey. (Now you tell us who is more appropriately dressed for church.) Be comfortable, come as you are, and have an open heart for God to speak to you.

Where do I park?

There is a parking lot at the back of the church. Handicap spaces are available, and we suggest reserving the row closest to the building for those that may be mobility impaired. Street parking is also available on the streets surrounding the building.

Where do I go when I get to church?

We have a parking lot behind the building off of Main Street. The ramp from the parking lot will lead directly into the back of the sanctuary where are greeters can help you get acquainted. There is also on-street parking and a front entrance on McMinn Street. When using this entrance, walk straight ahead to the wooden doors of the sanctuary.

What do I do with my kids?

During worship, we typically encourage kids to stay for the first part of the service so you can worship together as a family. After the music, children are invited upstairs to the Youth Room to participate in Kindness Counts, where children participate in age-appropriate lessons and activities about showing Jesus' love through kindness to others. Children return to their families at the end of the service.

What is your worship service like?

At 11 am worship, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere with an informal style. Pastor Howard's sermons are Bible-based and contain humorous and inspiring messages about applying God's truths to today's world. Our contemporary music is led by a live praise band. We sing some of the best-known contemporary praise songs, by artists such as Chris Tomlin, Crowder, and Casting Crowns, in our own style.
